T he Blackhawk? USB510L JTAG Emulator is a very af-

fordable and full-featured addition to our product lineup

for Texas Instruments TMS320, TMS470 (ARM), DaVinci and

OMAP families.

P ortability of the USB510L is enhanced due to the very

compact pod and because no external power is required

except for a USB connection. This makes the new emulator

very well suited for travel and use with notebook com-

puters. Many of the older and less-sophisticated parallel

port and PCMCIA emulators cannot be used on modern

laptops and the USB510 L is a faster, easier and cost-

effective replacement.

B lackhawk is the first company to introduce a USB JTAG

emulator for Texas Instruments DSP’s and the new

USB510 L raises the standard for portability, reliability and

ease of installation.

T wo optional add-ons to the USB510L are the Blackhawk

FlashBurn utility and Blackhawk Isolation Adapter.

BHFlashBurn is a scriptable utility that follows the freely

available Texas Instruments API and algorithms for pro-

gramming DSPs with on-chip flash.
